Mr. Big Pockets wears magical short pants given to him by a wizard when he was a young boy lost in the woods. From the pockets he is able to pull out anything and everything necessary to ‘save the day’. Though not very fashionable, the magical shorts provide escapes from perilous situations as well as helping people with their daily lives. He also fancies himself an inventor though, sadly, his inventions rarely succeed. Themes touch upon kindness, friendship, high hopes, and the never quit attitude.

If the children refer back to a character or unique situation in a story…it means it has them thinking. I believe engagement is the single most important factor in a good children’s book. The other telling characteristic of your writing is that it stands on it’s own without many illustrations. So your writing lends itself to children’s visualization abilities.”
